Charter for Compassion

The ‘Charter for Compassion’ movement started with the TEDtalk by British author on religion, Karen Armstrong. Their goals is to restore compassion into the heart of our community with our moral and religious traditions as its central principle. The charter has been composed by representatives and leaders from many countries and world religions.

Compassion for Care was inspired by the Charter for Compassion and both organizations are in contact, however, Compassion for Care does not have a background based on religion.
